About Mohamed Hamdan

Twenty years inside the markets, and most of that time spent teaching people how not to lose.

A mechanical engineer by training, trading since 2007. I serve as Deputy CEO and Head of Derivatives at Mubasher Capital BSC (C) in Bahrain, leading a team across sales, operations and the trading desk, and structuring derivatives offerings for corporate and institutional clients.

Engineering left me with one habit I never dropped: calculate before you act. That is the whole of my teaching. Position sizing, stop placement, exposure limits, and the arithmetic of a losing streak. Not predictions, and never signals.

I teach derivatives and risk management with financial institutions and training bodies across the region, among them the Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance and Bahrain Bourse. My workshops and seminars have run in Cairo, Manama and Riyadh, alongside weekly in house sessions on risk management and derivatives investment. I hold a BSc in Mechanical Engineering, a Graduate Diploma in Project Management, and certification as a Blockchain Expert.
